This is my final year project. Done during my last year in Multimedia University :D . The theme for our batch is CULTURE. After a whole lot of brainstorming, i've came out with an idea which is to mix up western culture and the Chinese culture! It is about a western guy named Albert and his adventures in the Chinese town.

Having my internship done in Korea together with another 2 of my friends is the best experience i have ever had! Communication is our main barrier throughout the 2 projects we did. The first project we were assigned to do was the Busan-Fukuoka friendship mothin graphic. There are 6 of us in the team.

This motion graphic is to strengthen the relationship between Korea and Japan. The style used in this motion graphic is cute and vibrant. We started from ideationi sketches, storyboard, video color correct and matching the elements into the videos.


The second project we received was an opening sequence for an independent movie entitled "Undonghwa BbaNeun Nal" (A Day with a Red Sport Shoe). 3 of us were involved, which are us 3 interns! Fully in control with the concept, execution and styles.

Mr. Kite's Pie Factory is one of the assignments which i enjoy doing very much. It is my final project during my Gamma year and we were given 5 musics to choose from. Then, we were supposed to create a motion graphic according to the beat and the rhythm of the music.

The color scheme i used for this Motion Graphic is mainly in RED and GOLD. These colors were chosen to create the luxurious feeling of the factory.

The animatics was not very effective as a reference for my final animation as it is too rough and messy.

Hence, i created a floor plan of the factory and also planned the animation flow in a circle.

The concept board!

For our second project in Gamma year, we were given the topic "Oriental paintings" to create a motion graphics. So, i've chosen to create a motion graphics based on the steps to become a real Geisha. Inspired by the movie Memoirs of a Geisha.

In this Motion Graphic, i've used alot of textures and patterns to create the kimonos and backgrounds. Mostly done in Illustrator, Photoshop and animation done in After Effects.

So here is my second Motion Graphic work! :)

My very first motion graphics in MMU! Also, my first product done in Maya. The subject and i chose for this project is Screw and Repetitive.

Ballerina came to my mind when i was thinking of a spinning screw. So, I combined ballerina and screw to the character's design. There are also screw birds in this MG.
